Accepting new clients

I’m a relational and systemic therapist and I work with individuals, families, couples, and polycules/non-traditional relational structures of all kinds. In therapy I value collaboration, humor, and compassion. I believe in a holistic approach where we consider you not as a diagnosis or set of symptoms, but as a whole, complex, capable human being. You are the expert in your own life– in our work I will strive to provide support, reflection, and camaraderie as you seek out a life that fulfills you.

My clinical work is based in Narrative Therapy, IFS, DBT, and attachment theory. I really value using Somatic interventions in my work– creating safe attunement through mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and Brainspotting. In my relational work, I have completed Gottman Couple’s Therapy training and utilize Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT) approaches. I am also experienced working with queer, trans, neurodivergent, and chronically ill/disabled folks.

As a therapist and as a person, I take the implications of the social, political, and cultural contexts in which we live seriously. My clinical orientation is grounded in liberatory, feminist, and anti-racist practices. I have extensive experience working with complex trauma and PTSD as well as folks with traditionally marginalized identities. A guiding theme in much of this work is attuning to grief– whether that be ambiguous loss, disenfranchised grief, or intergenerational trauma and loss.

When I’m not in the office, I am reading, spending time with my community, or biking outside in the sunshine. I have been recently exploring working with stained glass and love to learn new things. Nothing brings me more joy than cooking (usually Italian food) for my loved ones. I earned my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. I am working toward LMFT licensure under the supervision of Laura Hagen, MA, LMFT.
