Trained in EMDR
As a therapist, I am excited and eager to humbly connect with individuals who feel stuck and are seeking a safe, warm place to heal and grow. I know that starting therapy can be nerve-wracking at times, so let me be the first to hype you up for engaging in this important life-changing work.
I bring authenticity, fun, energy, and empathy to the therapeutic relationship and will non-judgmentally hold space for whatever you need. Together we will be curious and compassionate and use the therapy techniques that feel safe for you in order to bravely navigate past wounds and promote inner healing.
I have experience working with teens and young adults with a variety of presenting concerns including substance use disorders, PTSD and trauma, anxiety, depression, self-harm, dissociation, disordered eating and body image, and difficult life-transitions.
In my free time you can find me adventuring with my dog, trying and wonderfully failing at numerous arts and crafts, going for a run on a local trail, or snuggling up with a book about the latest mental health phenomenon.
I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and I earned my master’s degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota.
