Accepting new clients

At our core, we long to feel understood, both by others and ourselves. Yet life's demands, challenges and trauma can leave us feeling disconnected, unseen, or hidden. As a psychodynamically oriented psychotherapist, I believe healing begins by turning inward, allowing ourselves to feel deeply, reflect honestly, and be witnessed with compassion and without judgment.

In our work together, I strive to create a supportive space where emotions are not minimized or avoided, but explored and honored. I understand how difficult it can be to express feelings, especially those shaped by trauma, cultural expectations, or unspoken experiences. My aim is to meet each person exactly where they are. Whether you are just beginning to explore your inner world or feel overwhelmed by what’s already there, we will go at your pace, together.

My approach is rooted in cultural humility and competence. My work is integrative and systematic, grounded in psychodynamic theory, internal family systems theory, and attachment theory. Therapy with me is not about “fixing” who you are, but reconnecting with parts of yourself that may have been silenced, shamed, or lost. It’s a process of finding understanding, and reclaiming your sense of self.

I work with individuals and couples navigating relational challenges, including divorce, attachment concerns, and the impacts of domestic violence and/or abuse. I specialize in supporting those experiencing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, and issues related to identity and self-worth. I also enjoy working with immigrant and BIPOC  communities as they navigate cultural identities, systemic challenges, and the nuances of living between multiple worlds.

Outside of the therapy space, you’ll find me spending time with my favorite people, dancing and choreographing, cheering for the Wolves, playing trivia, and watching multiple shows at once.

I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from the University of St. Thomas and am working toward LPCC licensure under the supervision of Krista Jorgenson, MA, LPCC.
