Change doesn’t always arrive loudly. Sometimes it’s a relationship ending, a career pivot, a loss, a diagnosis, a move, becoming a parent, leaving a faith or identity that no longer fits. Sometimes it’s quieter than that, just a feeling of being unmoored, without quite knowing why. I specialize in helping people navigate these in-between spaces where who you were no longer fits and who you’re becoming isn’t quite clear yet. For some, that may look like leading with logic and struggling to access or express emotion. Or perhaps your feelings are so big and consuming that they cloud your sense of identity. Or maybe you're just tired of holding it all together.
Wherever you find yourself, I offer a space grounded in honesty, curiosity, and care. All identities are welcome here. Your full self, the messy parts and the tender parts and the parts you haven't figured out how to name yet, are invited into the room, just as they are.
Alongside life transitions, I have a special interest in grief, depression, anxiety, trauma, and questions of self-worth and identity. Our work together might include collaborative exploration of your inner world, along with practices that support the connection between mind and body. If any of this feels familiar, I'd welcome the chance to talk.
A little about me outside the therapy room, I'm a lifelong Minnesota sports fan (for better or worse), a lover of all furry animals, and you can usually find me with a coffee in my hand.
I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Minnesota and am working toward LPCC licensure under the supervision of Krista Jorgenson, MA, LPCC.
