Not accepting new clients

I am a licensed therapist with a firm belief that life is not a “one size fits all” and neither is your therapy. I find that engaging in people’s interests and skill sets tends to bring about the most success for the individual. I enjoy an equal balance between exploring your past and testing out skills to improve your present and future.

I am currently seeing clients for individual telehealth therapy ages 12 and older. I graduated with my masters at the University of Minnesota in 2017 through the Counseling and Student Personnel Psychology program. Since working as a mental health therapist my clinical experiences include Anxiety, Depression, OCD, trauma, autism, ADHD, challenges making and keeping friends, grief, self-compassion, adoption and attachment, and domestic abuse perpetrators and victims. My therapeutic approach utilizes CBT and DBT while enhancing insight into thoughts and emotions by exploring and respecting one’s personal experience. Additionally, I have experience with the PEERS social skill curriculum for adolescents and adults on the autism spectrum and enjoy teaching various skills.

In therapy I bring my authentic self to session as life and relationships tend to work better when we can just be ourselves. This includes an abundance of humor, connecting on common interests, and exchanges of book/podcast/movie/tv show/music recommendations.

Outside of therapy I enjoy being active and working out, co-ed softball, playing flute, fantasy football, listening to audiobooks, and spending time with my family including my dog Reya and cat Iggy.
