Accepting new clients
I enjoy working with individuals in a collaborative and integrative approach. I take the time to get to know individuals and work with clients to create new thinking patterns and behaviors that are best suited for each individual.
My strength as a therapist is my genuineness and my curiosity, I look forward to learning from my clients about their experiences and taking the time to understand each individual. I plan to use an integrative approach throughout sessions in order to get a full understanding of culture, environment, relationships, and past experiences that may be influencing the current experiences an individual is going through.
As a therapist, I am very engaged and attentive. I have also been described as very relaxed, non-judgemental, and go with the flow. I aim to create a space for individuals to come and feel comfortable discussing their experiences, working through presenting challenges together, and creating coping strategies that empower individuals to reach their goals.
In my free time I like to hang out with my family, friends, and my boyfriend. I like to get outdoors in the summertime and go hiking. In the winter I like to try out new restaurants and spend time with my dogs, Willow and Pearl!
I earned my master’s degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. I am working toward LPCC licensure under the licensed supervision of Krista Jorgenson, MA, LPCC.
