Justice TenEyck, BA

he/him

I work with all adults (18+) who are navigating depression, anxiety, OCD, grief, life changes, and questions of identity; I have a special  interest in working with LGBTQIA+ folks. As a therapist, I will meet you with gentleness, compassion, and a dash of push-back to help you discover the dreams you have for yourself, and to guide you towards greater self-understanding. We may do this by fostering curiosity about yourself and your relationships, exploring ingrained beliefs about yourself and the world, and/or cultivating mindful acceptance.

My approach is informed by psychoanalysis, attachment, narrative, and schema therapies. I believe that the counseling room is a great space to explore the effect the past has on our present, and to uncover patterns we reenact throughout our lives. Ultimately, if you decide that these patterns no longer serve you, I’ll collaborate with you to challenge and change them. Working together, we’ll move you closer to an authentic and fulfilling life—whatever that looks like for you. Remember, there is no certain path in life, or way that you have to be. It is never too late—in the day or your life—to make a change that brings you closer to the dreams you have for yourself.

Outside of the office you may find me reading (mostly fantasy and sci-fi), playing disc golf or board games with friends, contemplating the existential, collecting quotes, or wishing it was raining.

I am currently earning my Master’s Degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary’s University and am under the supervision of Krista Jorgenson, MA, LPCC.
