Trained in EMDR

As a psychotherapist, I focus on helping my clients work toward goals through exploration, insight, and practice. I believe that psychological wellness comes from understanding and integrating all aspects of our selves, even those we experience as painful. By identifying and working through life events that have shaped us, we gain a better understanding of our own behaviors and belief systems. This insight helps us rewrite our narratives and restructure toward strength and resilience. I'll bring positive intention into our space and work hard to identify and meet your individual needs. We'll work together to make your experience one of insight, healing, and growth.

I work primarily with adults — both individuals and couples — and have extensive experience treating anxiety, depression, Borderline Personality Disorder, trauma, attachment disorders, and LGBTQ+ issues.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, snuggling with/bothering my two cats and my dogs, doing genealogy research, going antique shopping, and dabbling in the paranormal. I bring a sense of humor wherever I go and have consistently gotten the feedback from colleagues, "You laugh so much with your clients!" Humor makes life more manageable and I'll incorporate that into our work.
