In addition to regular therapy services, I also offer one-time appointments to provide letters of support for those seeking gender-affirming surgeries.

My goal as a therapist is to help you build more authentic relationships with yourself and with others. I bring creativity, curiosity, humor, and nonjudgmental compassion to the therapy space so that you can learn to show up genuinely in your life. Together, we will investigate patterns and influences from your past and gain a better understanding of your relationships with your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I believe healing comes through building community, practicing mindful awareness, and learning how to courageously experience life instead of avoiding its challenges.

I use an intersectional lens of racial justice, feminism, and Health at Every Size principles to contextualize your struggles and goals. I’m a queer therapist with experience working with LGBTQ+ people to explore topics such as gender identity, nontraditional family and relationship structures, sex and sexuality, and asexuality. I also have experience helping individuals manage anxiety, depression, OCD, neurodivergence, death and dying, grief and loss, and life changes.

Outside of the office, I’m usually involved with numerous nerdy pursuits and creative projects, inexpertly lifting weights, exploring offbeat local attractions, or puttering around the house with tea and a notebook.

I earned my master’s degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. I am a prelicensed therapist working under the licensed supervision of Krista Jorgenson, MA, LPCC.
