I’m a therapist who is passionate about forming authentic connections with clients and using the therapeutic relationship to foster healing and growth. I work with both adolescents (12+) and adults using an approach grounded in safety, consent, and liberation.

As a queer, genderqueer therapist, I am deeply committed to creating a safe and affirming space for all LGBTQ+ folks. I understand how transformative it can be to work with someone who understands some of the lived experiences of navigating the world as a queer person. I especially enjoy supporting clients with gender and sexuality exploration, identity development, and life transitions. Additionally, I often work with folks who are experiencing anxiety and depression, exploring relationship structures, healing from complex trauma, navigating attachment concerns, managing chronic illness, and grappling with existential thoughts. I also use an informed consent model to provide letters of medical necessity for clients seeking gender-affirming care.

My therapeutic approach is relational, trauma-informed, collaborative, and depth-oriented. I often work with folks long-term who are wanting to increase insight and self-awareness into the impact of past experiences, relationships, and societal systems. I also recognize the role that systems of oppression have on well-being and thus strive to center anti-oppressive and liberatory practices in my work. As I work with clients, I hope to foster a therapy space that is non-judgmental, empowering, and filled with compassion, creativity, and humor.

Outside of work, I can be found reading all of the nonfiction books, tending to lots of succulents, working on another paint-by-numbers kit, and watching women’s basketball. I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from St. Catherine University. I am working toward LICSW licensure under the licensed supervision of Laura Hagen, MA, LMFT and Christy Rushfeldt, MSW, LICSW, LADC.
